Authentication servers are down ubuntu server minecraft Offline#
Please try again later, sorry 03:56:05 ERROR: Couldn't verify username because servers are unavailable The actual authentication servers may have been offline for a few moments, but they are definetly working now. You can check the Mojang server status with the Mojang Status page on their help site. The failed to verify username means that the Minecraft/Mojang authentication servers are down, this means that when you try and connect to a server it doesnt allow you. What confuses me is why it worked at first and then quit seemingly at random. 03:56:05 INFO: Disconnecting email protectedmy-minecraft-account (/my-router-ip:62618): Authentication servers are down. Login Error: Failed to verify username/Connect to Minecraft. I have already verified that my router is not blocking access to Mojang's servers so it must be within my system configurations somewhere. Im thinking this is an error in the firewall configuration but I dont know how or where to start with that. I tried disabling online-mode and it said "You are not whitelisted on this server." and still wouldn't let any one in. I checked and there are no disruptions on Mojang's servers, so it must be my system. Any attempt to reconnect give the message: "Authentication servers are down, try again later." and 4 days later, same issue.įrom what I can tell this means that the server can't verify my user ID with Mojang's servers for some reason. When playing Minecraft you should not use VPNs because they aren't allowed in both Minecraft, Hypixel and some servers. I have had a MineOS setup using the pre-packaged Turnkey bundle on a dedicated system and it worked at first, but recently the system kicked everyone off the server.
